I am dedicated to the proliferation of knowledge pertaining to the housing and breeding of all manner of freshwater fish, with a focus on the cichlids of the African rift lakes. I have kept aquarium fish for over twenty years now. I started out with a single 10 gallon aquarium kit that led to numerous disasters before I eventually started to acquire a knack for successfully caring for fish. I now have more than a dozen aquariums operating, with numerous species of freshwater fish inhabiting them. My favorites are the fish of Lake Tanganyika in Africa, but I keep a number of different cichlids, rainbows, catfish, danios, livebearers, etc... This is my attempt to share with others what I have learned and to offer to the public a few of the species I have spawned.
Visit the Cichlids of Africa page for links to information on individual fish. Information contained in the profiles is first hand knowledge combined with what I have learned from others throughout the years. My hope is that all of my visitors will find something useful herein, or - at the very least - enjoy the photographs and videos.
