Shipping Fish!?!

4/19/2014

Picture
Allow me to start by apologizing for falling off the map again. I haven't posted in quite some time, but here I am. I shipped fish for the first time this past week. Overall, the experience was a good one. Two adult male Sciaenochromis fryeri "White Knight" (around 6" long) and nearly a dozen 2" White Knights made their way from my home in the Chicago area to a town in Missouri. They all survived, though one of the large males managed to puncture a hole through four poly bags. He made it though, so thank you, Jesus.
What does this all mean? It means I am open to the idea of shipping fish in the future, though not internationally. I do not currently have a list of fish for sale, but I do have a list of the fish I am Currently Keeping. If you see something that interests you, I can be contacted through the Contact Us page. I am also open to trading. I will try to get a list of species that interest me up in the near future. Also, bear in mind that I am not a business, I am a lone hobbyist, so I will not be producing tons of fish for sale. Just keep expectations reasonable, folks.
That's all for now. Happy Resurrection Day (tomorrow)!

Because One Person Demanded It

I had one response to my survey regarding which fish to base my next Species Article upon. So here it is, Sciaenochromis fryeri "White Knight".

What next?

As anyone with eyes can see, my website is slow in taking form. I have only three of the "Species Articles" complete thus far. Actually, I believe only one is truly complete in its current state. Having said that, which species of those listed - or even those unlisted, would you, the viewers, like to see finished first? I will try to accommodate your wishes in as much as it is possible.
